How to Add or Remove Tokens in the ELLIPAL App?

Learn how to add and remove tokens in the ELLIPAL App. Tokens are managed in the app by network — add by name or contract address, remove anytime without affecting your assets.

Tokens in ELLIPAL are managed in the ELLIPAL App, not on the device. You can add any supported token by searching its name, or add a custom token using its contract address. Removing a token only hides it from your view — your assets on the blockchain are not affected.

How to Add Tokens

  1. Tap a network

  2. Tap the + icon

  3. Tap Add Unlisted Token

  4. Paste the contract address, then tap Submit — the token appears in your wallet view if the address is valid

How to Remove Tokens

  1. Tap a network

  2. Tap the + icon

  3. Tap the button next to the token you want to remove

Removing a token only hides it from your wallet view. Your assets always remain on the blockchain and are not affected.

FAQ

Why are there multiple tokens with the same name?

Anyone can create a token on a blockchain using any name. Always verify the token by checking its official contract address against the project's official website before adding it.

Why is my balance 0 after adding a token?

The most common causes are an incorrect contract address or the wrong network selected. Check that the contract address matches the official one and that the network matches where your tokens are held.

Does removing a token affect my assets?

No. Removing a token only hides it from your wallet view in the ELLIPAL App. Your assets remain on the blockchain and are not changed.

Why does adding an XRP token require a transaction?

Adding certain tokens on the XRP network requires creating a Trustline — a small on-chain transaction that incurs a network fee. This is a requirement of the XRP network, not specific to ELLIPAL.

Can I add tokens on the device itself?

No. Token management is done in the ELLIPAL App only. The device handles transaction signing; the app handles which tokens and networks are displayed.
