# How to Delete an Account on ELLIPAL Titan 2.0?

This guide shows you how to delete an account on your ELLIPAL Titan 2.0. Deleting an account removes it from the device — it does not delete your assets from the blockchain. You can restore the account at any time using your seed phrase.

> **Before you proceed:** Make sure your seed phrase is securely backed up offline. If you delete an account without a backup, access to that wallet cannot be recovered.

5. Enter your password and tap **Confirm**
6. The account is deleted from the device

### How to Confirm It Worked

After deletion, the account no longer appears in the Account List on your Titan 2.0. Note that deleting an account on the device does not remove it from the ELLIPAL App — if needed, delete it manually in the app as well. Other accounts on your device are not affected.

### FAQ

<details>

<summary><strong>Does deleting an account remove my assets from the blockchain?</strong></summary>

No. Your assets remain on the blockchain. Deleting an account only removes it from the device. You can restore the account and access your assets at any time using your seed phrase.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can I recover a deleted account?</strong></summary>

Yes. You can recover a deleted account at any time by importing your seed phrase on your Titan 2.0 or any compatible wallet. Your assets will be accessible once the account is restored.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What happens if I delete an account without a seed phrase backup?</strong></summary>

If you do not have a backup of your seed phrase, the account cannot be recovered and access to the assets in that wallet will be permanently lost. Always confirm your seed phrase backup is secure before deleting any account.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Will deleting an account on the Titan 2.0 also remove it from the ELLIPAL App?</strong></summary>

No. Deleting an account on the device does not automatically remove it from the ELLIPAL App. You need to delete it manually in the app if you want it removed there as well.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Will deleting one account affect my other accounts?</strong></summary>

No. Each account is independent. Deleting one account does not affect any other accounts on your device.
