How to Unstake ETH with ELLIPAL Titan 2.0 and X Card?
Learn how to unstake ETH with your ELLIPAL Titan 2.0 or X Card hardware wallet: signing steps, the unbonding period, and how to withdraw once your ETH becomes available.
You can request to unstake your ETH directly in the ELLIPAL App and sign the transaction with your Titan 2.0 or X Card. Unstaked ETH stops earning rewards as soon as the request is submitted, and it takes about 7 days for the unbonding period to complete before the ETH becomes withdrawable.
Before You Start
Make sure you have the following ready:
ELLIPAL App installed, with your Titan 2.0 or X Card wallet already connected
An active ETH staking position with Earning status
Your Titan 2.0 powered on, or your X Card and its Card-PIN at hand
A small amount of ETH in your wallet to cover the network fee
Good to know: Unstaking does not return your ETH immediately. It first enters an Unbonding status for about 7 days (longer during peak periods), then becomes Withdrawable — you still need to withdraw it manually in the app to complete the process. Always check the contract address shown in the transaction details before signing, and cancel if it does not match.
How to Unstake ETH in the ELLIPAL App

On the Discover page, tap Earn
Tap ETH
On the Staking page, tap Unstake
Enter the amount you want to unstake, then tap Unstake
Read the security notice, then tap Next
On your Titan 2.0, open Sign and scan the unsigned QR code shown in the app. The device signs the transaction offline and displays a signed QR code
In the app, tap Scan Signed QR Code
Scan the signed QR code shown on your Titan 2.0 with the app
The unstake request is submitted — the status changes to Unbonding
Note: If your Titan firmware is below v4.14, the signing screen may show "Function: unknown" during ETH unstaking. This is expected and does not affect the transaction. Updating to firmware v4.14 or later lets the device display full transaction details.

On the Discover page, tap Earn
Tap ETH
On the Staking page, tap Unstake
Enter the amount you want to unstake, then tap Unstake
Review the undelegate amount, delegator, and contract address, then tap Confirm
Enter your Card-PIN, then tap Submit
Hold your X Card to the phone's NFC area until signing completes
The unstake request is submitted — the status changes to Unbonding
How to Confirm It Worked
After the transaction is submitted, return to the Staking page in the app. The Unstaking section shows Status: Unbonding and the unstaking amount. Once the roughly 7-day unbonding period ends, the status changes to Withdrawable — you then need to tap Withdraw in the app to move the ETH back into your available balance.
