## How to Send Crypto with ELLIPAL X Card

This guide walks you through sending crypto with your ELLIPAL X Card — from entering the recipient address to signing the transaction via NFC and broadcasting it to the network. Your private keys never leave the card at any point.

### Before You Start

Make sure you have the following ready:

* ELLIPAL X Card, connected to the ELLIPAL App
* Sufficient balance to cover the transfer amount and network fee
* The recipient address and, if sending to an exchange, the correct Memo or Tag
* Your Card-PIN

### How to Send Crypto with ELLIPAL X Card

The ELLIPAL App prepares the transaction and broadcasts it — signing happens on your X Card via NFC, with no internet connection involved at any point.

1. Open the ELLIPAL App and tap **Send**
2. Select the token you want to send
3. Enter the recipient address and amount, then tap **Submit**
4. Review the transaction details, then tap **I Understand**
5. Enter your **Card-PIN**, then tap **Submit**
6. Hold your X Card to the phone's NFC area to sign the transaction — keep the card still until signing is complete
7. Tap **Complete** — the transaction is broadcast to the blockchain

> **Verify the recipient address and amount before tapping I Understand.** Transactions are irreversible once broadcast to the blockchain. If anything looks wrong, go back and correct it before proceeding.

### What Can Go Wrong

#### Why is my transaction pending for a long time?

A pending transaction usually means network congestion or a low fee. Check the transaction status in the app or paste the transaction ID into a blockchain explorer for that network. If the fee was too low, you may need to wait — most networks process low-fee transactions eventually, though it can take hours. To avoid this, select a standard or higher fee setting when the network is busy.

#### Why is my transaction failing?

The most common causes are an incorrect network selection, insufficient balance to cover the network fee, or a missing Memo or Tag when sending to an exchange that requires one. Check each of these before retrying. To prevent failures, double-check the network and available balance before tapping Submit.

#### What should I do if I sent to the wrong address?

Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. If you sent to the wrong address, contact the owner of that address directly if you know them. If the address belongs to an exchange, contact their support team immediately — recovery is not guaranteed but some exchanges can assist. To avoid this, always verify the full recipient address before tapping I Understand.

#### Why won't the X Card sign the transaction via NFC?

Make sure NFC is enabled in your phone's settings. Hold the X Card flat and still against the back of your phone — move it slowly in small steps if it does not detect immediately. Also confirm your Card-PIN was entered correctly before holding the card to the phone.
