# View Receiving Addresses

## How to View Receiving Addresses on ELLIPAL X Card

This guide shows you how to find your receiving address in the ELLIPAL App when using an X Card. Because the X Card has no display screen, all address viewing happens in the app — your address is derived from the private keys stored securely on the card.

***

### Before You Start

Make sure you have the following ready:

* ELLIPAL X Card, connected to the ELLIPAL App
* The coin or token you want to receive already added to your wallet
* The network confirmed with whoever is sending funds to you

***

### View your receiving address in the app

The ELLIPAL App displays your receiving address derived from the X Card — no screen on the card is needed.

1. Open the ELLIPAL App and tap **Receive**
2. Select the token you want to receive
3. Your receiving address and QR code appear on screen — share either one with the sender

> **Always select the correct network before sharing your address.** Sending assets to the wrong network may result in permanent loss. When in doubt, send a small test transaction first before transferring a large amount.

### Switch address type (BTC)

Some coins support multiple address formats. For example, BTC supports Native SegWit, Nested SegWit, Legacy, and Taproot. If the sender requires a specific format, switch before sharing.

1. On the receive screen, tap the address type icon in the top-right corner
2. Select the address type you need
3. The address updates immediately — share the new address or QR code

### What Can Go Wrong

#### Why doesn't my address match what the sender expects?

The sender may be using a different network or address type. Confirm which network they are sending from — for example, USDT exists on multiple networks (Ethereum, TRON, BNB Chain) and each has a different address. Select the matching network in the ELLIPAL App before sharing your address.

#### Why is my receiving address not showing in the app?

The token or network may not have been added to your wallet. In the ELLIPAL App, tap the **Manage Network** button in the top-right corner, search for the network you want to add, and tap it to enable it. The address will appear once the network is added.

### FAQ

<details>

<summary><strong>How do I find my wallet address on ELLIPAL X Card?</strong></summary>

Open the ELLIPAL App, tap **Receive**, and select the token you want to receive. Your receiving address and QR code appear immediately. Because the X Card has no screen, the app is the only place to view your address — it is derived directly from the private keys stored on the card.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>How do I receive crypto on ELLIPAL X Card from an exchange?</strong></summary>

Find your receiving address in the ELLIPAL App (Step 1), then paste or scan the address in the exchange's withdrawal screen. Select the same network on both sides. Send a small test amount first if it is your first transfer from that exchange.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Do I need to verify the receiving address on the X Card device?</strong></summary>

The X Card has no display screen, so address verification happens in the ELLIPAL App. The address shown in the app is derived from the private keys stored on your X Card — as long as your X Card is the one connected to the app, the address is correct.
